How many people actually mail out Christmas cards any more? I mean, go to the store, buy the box of cards, go to the post office, get the Christmas stamps, and put the cards in the mailbox and raise the little red flag? Anyone?
With the internet and all the cute little free card sites I am thinking a lot of people just email cards, or post them on facebook and do a huge, generic, Merry Christmas From my family to yours kind of thing now-a-days. And that's sad really. I haven't done very well in the past sending cards out to people, not even family. But today, I have turned over a new leaf and I hope you will to....
While perusing facebook today I came across this post:
Upon seeing this, I thought how selfish is was of me to not even think about these soldiers away from their family, fighting for MY freedom and how I am sure they would LOVE to get cards and letters from "home" showing our support. So this year, not only am I going to send cards to my family and friends, I am going to send cards to those sacrificing for ME!
I did a little research and found a place today that has Christmas Boxed- Buy 2 Get 1 Free right now! So my mind is made up, I hope you will join me!
